Do you give free quotes?
Yes. Lee will come and look at the roof and give you a written quote before any work starts, so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Can my roof be repaired, or does it need replacing?
If the damage is local and the rest of the roof is sound, a repair is usually the right call. Once the felt or battens have failed across the roof, or repairs keep coming back, replacing it costs less in the long run. We'll tell you honestly which one you need.
Why is my roof leaking?
Most leaks come from slipped or broken tiles, failed lead flashing around chimneys, blocked valleys and gutters, or cracked mortar on the ridge. We trace the leak to its source rather than patching where the water shows.
What counts as a roofing emergency?
Water coming into the house, tiles or slates blown off, storm or fallen tree damage, or anything loose that could fall. Call us on 07864 367325 any time, day or night.
Do you take on insurance work?
Yes. If you're claiming for storm damage, take photos before anything is moved and let your insurer know early. We can supply photos and a written quote for the repair.
Do I need planning permission for a new roof?
Replacing a roof like for like usually doesn't need planning permission, unless the building is listed or in a conservation area. Re-roofing does fall under Building Regulations, which we'll talk you through.
